Dear Members of the Garretson Community:
Welcome to the 2024 pool season! We are planning to open the Garretson Swimming Pool on Tuesday, June 4th (weather permitting).
Our hours will be:
Monday: 12:00pm - 7:00pm
Tuesday: Adult swim 11:00am-12:00pm - Open Swim 12:00pm-7:00pm
Wednesday: Open Swim 12:00pm-5:00pm reopening 6:00pm-8:00pm - Water aerobics will take place 5:00pm-5:30pm
Thursday: Adult swim 11:00am-12:00pm - Open swim 12:00pm-7:00pm
Friday: Open swim 12:00pm-7:00pm - Frozen Friday!
Saturday: Open swim 12:00pm-5:00pm
Sunday: Open swim 12:00pm-5:00pm - Water aerobics will take place 5:00pm-5:30pm
Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:00 p.m. with Sunday being “Family Day”.
(all hours are open for adjustment throughout the season), dependent upon weather and attendance.
Life jackets are allowed all day WITH ADULT SUPERVISION. Please get a copy of the pool’s life jacket policy if you plan to bring your child in one.
Swimming Lessons. One-week sessions of Red Cross Learn to Swim swimming lessons will be offered. Each lesson will be 45 minutes in length, for each of the 5 days. Sessions are available either in the morning or late afternoon. Dates to be determined. Sign up for lessons at the pool office.
Child Supervision is extremely important! The wading pool is supervised only by the adult bringing the child/children. For the safety of toddlers and preschool children, patrons who swim in the main pool are not allowed to swim or play in the wading pool at any time. This includes break times. Please go over the pool rules with your child/children before the season starts. If you plan on having a guest for a portion of the summer, please remember guests cannot use the pool on family passes.
To purchase passes before opening day, the pool office will be open May 28th-31st from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Adult lap swim will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00am - 12:00pm
Adult water aerobics classes will be held on Wednesday and Sunday evenings at 5:00pm! Please sign up for classes at the pool office by the Friday before.
